What lease terms do you offer?

Depends on the year and our availability! Right now we can offer a range of lease terms. Need something for the summer semester only? Got you covered! Summer – Fall, we can do that! We have availability now! Our most common lease is a 12 month lease (August to July) but if you need something sooner, we can help you out!

Is the community pet-friendly?

Yes! We love our furry friends here at Montaire!

Parking is $100 per month for a reserved and assigned stall in our garage

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes! Montaire Student Living comes fully equipped with energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, a designer furniture package with a couch, coffee table, and media console, plus an in-home washer and dryer. All bedrooms are fully furnished and include a full XL-size bed, desk, chair, and drawers. Select units also feature barstools, a kitchen island, and additional seating.

Do you offer roommate matching?

Yes! Montaire offers a roommate matching program to help you find a great fit. During the application process, you’ll answer a few questions about your habits and preferences. From there, our team works to match you with compatible roommates before move-in.

How can I get to campus?

We have a private shuttle, public bus, trax system, etc. Close to The U and Westminster!

What is the shuttle schedule to and from campus?

We have 4 KAT stops on property that pick up every 30-minutes throughout the school year and drops you off on campus. Shuttle runs Monday-Friday, 7 AM until 7 PM during the regular academic year. See schedule here.

What does it mean to have an individual lease?

Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for their portion of the common areas and their bedroom. If your roommate ends up not coming back for the spring semester, you're not responsible for their payment.

When is my rent due?

Monthly rental installments are due on the 1st of each month. Your lease is paid in 12 equal installments, with each installment due on the 1st. Please note that these payments are rental installments toward the total amount due under your lease and are not considered monthly rent.

What if I need to break my lease or don’t return for the spring semester?

The Knox Row lease is binding and cannot be broken. If you cannot live at Knox Row after signing your lease, you will need to re-let. Please call the leasing office for information on re-letting.

How do I pay my rental installment?

We accept payment via check, money order, or through the resident portal.

Do you allow pets?

We're thrilled to welcome your furry friends! Just let our leasing team know you're planning to bring a pet, and they'll be happy to walk you through Knox Row's pet policy.

Do you have a roommate matching system?

Yes, we offer a roommate matching system. If you don't have anyone in mind that you would like to live with, let us match you up with someone! There is a roommate matching profile that you will fill out to let us know more about what you're looking for in a roommate. Then, we take the time to figure out the best match for you based on that information.

What if I need maintenance in my bedroom or apartment?

Our maintenance team is on-call for after hours emergencies 24-hours a day!

What furniture is provided?

Knox Row apartments are fully furnished with a full XL-sized bed, desk and chair, and a dresser in each bedroom. The living area comes with a comfortable couch, side chair, coffee table, and TV stand (4-beds ONLY!). The kitchen comes fully equipped with energy efficient appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and washer & dryer.

What do I need to bring to my new apartment?

We suggest you bring: bedding (we recommend queen to fit the full XL) kitchen utensils, and decorations to make your apartment feel like home!

Can I choose my roommate?

Yes! If you have a preferred roommate, let us know during the application process. We also offer roommate matching services based on lifestyle preferences and compatibility using the roommate matching card from your application.

Can I bring my own furniture?

Our apartments are fully furnished for your convenience and comfort, so space for additional furniture may be limited. You're welcome to bring your own but you will be responsible for storing and returning the furniture that comes with the unit at your lease end.

What’s the lease duration?

We offer 12-month lease terms. Be sure to check with our leasing office for additional details or immediate move-in options.

Is on-site parking available?

Yes! We provide FREE onsite registered parking for our residents!

Is renters’ insurance required?

Renters’ Insurance is required to protect your personal belongings. We require a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage. It’s a small investment for added peace of mind.

How do I secure my spot?
